Giving Thanks

I have much to be thankful for, but this weekend I was thankful for the wonderful time spent with my family on a beautiful autumn day.  Here's a few pics taken with a neat camera app I downloaded onto my phone.

Long Weekend Fun

Final Assignment

It's my last photography class tonight and our final assignment was to submit 3 pictures with a common theme and have the rest of the class guess what that theme is. Can you guess?

Portraits

I have a lens, the function of which I wasn't all that entirely sure. I used it a bit last weekend to take some pictures of the nieces and their family dog. Turns out it's a great lens for taking portraits. Who knew?

We Still Know How to Have Fun

My brother and nieces went tobogganing last weekend and I used my "Sport" setting on the camera to take rapid-fire pictures of all the exciting action.

It Was Worth The Drive

Huntsville declared a "snow emergency" on Friday. That wasn't enough to stop me from driving up there on Saturday. 5 1/2 hours later...
