Giving Thanks

I have much to be thankful for, but this weekend I was thankful for the wonderful time spent with my family on a beautiful autumn day.  Here's a few pics taken with a neat camera app I downloaded onto my phone.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated my Dad's birthday on Saturday.  I'm not going to bother telling you how old he is because you wouldn't believe me anyway.

Happy Birthday, Dad.  I hope all your birthday wishes came true.

Long Weekend Fun

I spent the long weekend in Huntsville visiting my brother and his family.  Here are some pics I took of my beautiful nieces playing at the park.

More Cute Faces

Here's my eldest niece pretending she doesn't want me to take her picture.

This is my step-father's dog, Neo.  He looks like a stuffed animal, not a real dog.

My beautiful sister-in-law and my youngest niece.  At least one of them needs a nap :)

Beautiful

I got to spend the day with my nieces yesterday, a spectacularly beautiful spring day full of sunshine and warmth.  More to follow, but just these for now...

Final Assignment

It's my last photography class tonight and our final assignment was to submit 3 pictures with a common theme and have the rest of the class guess what that theme is. Can you guess?

Portraits

I have a lens, the function of which I wasn't all that entirely sure. I used it a bit last weekend to take some pictures of the nieces and their family dog. Turns out it's a great lens for taking portraits. Who knew?

We Still Know How to Have Fun

My brother and nieces went tobogganing last weekend and I used my "Sport" setting on the camera to take rapid-fire pictures of all the exciting action.

It Was Worth The Drive

Huntsville declared a "snow emergency" on Friday. That wasn't enough to stop me from driving up there on Saturday. 5 1/2 hours later...

Bath time with my niece, Rylie.

So that's what that lens is for!

Mmmmmm, beer!
