I got to spend the day with my nieces yesterday, a spectacularly beautiful spring day full of sunshine and warmth. More to follow, but just these for now...

I'm hoping... :) I actually have my first commission: I'm doing head-shots for business cards for a coworker who just got his securities license and has become a financial advisor. He's paying me in beer, but hey--I'm providing a service and getting compensation for it so it counts!
